How we write

Our kids. Our children are named and visible on this site. Before anything about them is published we ask two questions: would this child be fine with it living online at nineteen, at thirty-five, and are we the narrator or is he the spectacle. Hard moments are told as our decisions, never as a child's worst day used for a headline. We do not write a child in distress as content.

What we paid then. Every cost on this site is what we paid at the time, with the date. Prices move. Treat our numbers as a reference point, not a quote.

No ads, no affiliate links we have not lived. There are no ads on this site. If we ever link to something for money, it will be something we used ourselves, and we will say so on the page.

Fit ratings. On destination guides you will see a short section rating the place on four things that matter for a high-support-needs, autonomy-driven kid: regulation, autonomy, sensory load, and daily rhythm. The ratings describe the place as we found it. They are not medical advice and they are not about any one child.

Faith. We are a family of faith. On this site it stays in the background. It shapes how we see things; it is not what we are here to argue.

Corrections. If we got something wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it and note the change.
